Error Message
xinetd/inetd (or amandad) does not appear to respond successfully to "amanda" service requests on this AEE server (localhost).
Error Description
Like most services started from x/inetd, the firewall or TCP-Wrapper, the client needs to be configured to allow the server to run/
Solution
Edit your /etc/hosts to allow to allow amandad through.Example command:
Login as root
# printf 'amandad: localhost\n' >> /etc/hosts.allow #This adds the amandad server to run when called from the localhost.
