       Integration of Mydumper 0.10 with ZRM Enterprise on EL 9

      Problem:

      For users of Enterprise Linux 9 (EL 9), there is currently no official installation package for Mydumper version 0.10. This poses a compatibility issue with ZRM Enterprise, which does not support versions of Mydumper newer than 0.10. Consequently, users may experience unexpected issues with backup or restore operations.

      Cause:

      ZRM Enterprise does not support Mydumper versions newer than 0.10.

      Solution:

      While it is possible to build Mydumper from source, this process is complex and time-consuming. To simplify installation, ZRM has created a custom RPM package based on the Mydumper 0.10 source. This package is specifically designed for use with Enterprise Linux 9 based systems.

      Installation Instructions:

      1. Download the RPM package from the Network Zmanda portal.

      2. Ensure that you install the same version of Mydumper on both the ZRM server and any database clients.

      3. Use the official binaries for installations on any other versions of operating systems.
