How to Reset Password for Individual Users

You can reset the password for users via the Zmanda Sentinel. This feature can come in handy if the user’s credentials are compromised in any way.

Follow the below steps to reset the password for any user in the organization.

Step 1. Sign in to Zmanda Sentinel and click on Users from the left sidebar. 

Step 2. Click on the user whose password you wish to reset.

Step 3. Click on Reset password.

You will see a message stating, “Password reset link is sent to the email”.

The user whose password is reset needs to access their email inbox and check for the set your password email. Please follow the below steps to reset your password.

Reset the Password

Step 1. Check your inbox for the Set Your Password email.

Step 2. Open the email and click on Set your password link. 

Step 3. Add your new password and click on the Reset password button. 

Step 4. Once the password is changed, you will see Password Changed on your screen. Click on the Back to Zmanda button to access Zmanda Sentinel.
