How to prevent dual triggering of scheduled backups
Problem:
Scheduled backups may sometimes start twice, once when you activate the backup set and again at the scheduled time. This occurs when the scheduled time has already passed.
Cause:
The dual triggering of scheduled backups arises when the scheduled time precedes the current time. This results in backups commencing upon backup set activation and again at the designated time, causing redundancy.
Solution:
To avoid dual triggering, ensure that the scheduled time is set after the current time. When the schedule time is in the future, the backup will proceed as intended, initiating only at the designated time.
By eliminating discrepancies between activation and scheduled time, this solution actively ensures the seamless operation of scheduled backups.
