Purpose:
This article explains why the report icon may be temporarily blocked on the monitor page following the completion of backup or vault jobs.
Solution:
In some instances, reports from backup or vault jobs may not be immediately available due to delays in the backend processes. This delay can be caused by several factors:

Premature termination of the Amanda process, leading to incomplete data.

Failures associated with the
amreport
command.
ZMC (Zmanda Management Console) actively monitors these conditions. If a report is not available immediately post-job completion, ZMC will attempt to retrieve the report during the next scheduled periodic task. The report icon will be blocked and display the message: "Reports being retrieved, please try again shortly."
If the report remains unavailable for more than one hour, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
