Host 'ZRMserver' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
This article is for Zmanda Recovery Manager For MySQL (ZRM)
Issue Symptoms
The following is seen at the top of the Backup|what page when trying to save the page or view Specific Databases:
ERROR 1130 (HY000): Host 'MyZRMServer' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
Issue Description
This indicates that the backup server is able to talk with the MySQL server at the host specified in the Host field but that the connection is being refused from this host.
Resolution
The MySQL user specified on the Backup|what page must be granted the appropriate privileges from the ZRM backup server to access the MySQL databases on the host specified in the Host field. Please see How to set up MySQL user privileges for backup and restore for more information.
